After receiving our certification Maryland’s MBE/DBE/SBE program, we initiated the process for Veteran Owned Small Business certification. 98.6 Sound was awarded the Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business certification.

During the course of the year we have partnered with several prominent audiovisual sales companies. These include Markertek, B&H Photo, Full Compass and more. We have also completed our process for audiovisual sales to the federal government.

We continue to provide support for our large annual events, but also added another one. Joining the MBX business networking group proved to be worth it. 98.6 Sound was selected by one of the MBX members as the audiovisual provider for a daylong seminar catering to small business owners. It was an excellent business seminar. This event did require adding more audiovisual gadgets to our inventory, in keeping with our dedication to track with current technology.

In October we launched our new website. We contracted Adek Productions of Annapolis, MD to overhaul our dated website. They worked with us diligently to get it just right. They did an excellent job in bringing us forward!
